The place to be - a range of cultural activities for everyone

Through-out the year you can attend wonderful festivals and visit fairs and popular markets in our city centre. We are setting unique and vivid new trends and lure lots of visitors.

Beginning in spring with May Day Market and its celebrations around the maypole until New Year's Eve with a great Gala in our town hall we celebrate with you together through-out the whole year.

Especially popular is the summer festival in the midst of town as well as the parish fair which takes place in autumn. We also celebrate the "Ball of the Oxeye Daisy" (Margeritenball) for the benefit of the fund "Help for needy people" ("Hilfe in Not") which supports those inhabitants who are in trouble. During the carnival season visitors are enthusiastic about the program of the local carnival association of KOL-LA. Tickets have to be bought three months in advance.
